Stage Combat Instructor

Kara is a recognized instructor with Dueling Arts International. She has trained under and assisted classes with several of the leading teachers of stage combat including: DAI founder Gregory Hoffman, and Master Teachers D.C. Wright, Christopher DuVal and Dave Maier.

Kara’s work focuses on safety, partnership, and theatricality in order to create the illusion of violence for stage. She teaches middle school, high school, college, community, and professional stage combat classes.
